A project born out of love for the least last and lost.
I was truly fortunate to have an integral role in the development of not only the branding and packaging, but also the physical space as well. The story is in the beans and the design. There is a restorative process in taking things that seem discarded or unusable and turn them into something beautiful, just like the people that go though the program. RR is to look familiar and established like it has been there the entire time, again like the people at can be affected by homelessness everywhere.
The concept behind Restoration Roasters is to change lives. RR is partnered with the Corona Norco Rescue Mission which houses individuals that want to change their lives from living on the street to being a part of society again. One of the challenges to that transformation is job training and experience. That’s where RR comes in. They have student at the Rescue Mission come and work there to build there resume and their skills as they prepare to enter back in to the work force. If that wasn’t cool enough 100% of the net proceeds go back to the Rescue Mission.

Work created for Plainjoe Studios.
Plainjoe Studios is a multi disciplined design firm base out of Corona Ca with the mantra that they are for the “Plain Joe” & "Average Jane” and they want to help get you to your destination.
As gift to their clients for that holiday season I had the concept to send a screen printing a balsa wood airplane with the idea of “Getting you to your destination” in flight. Tugging on the nestalgia and whimsy of toys, youth and spirit of giving. Also creating something memorable that the client would like to hold on to all year round.
German for “City Garden” is a German themed sausage and beer garden opening up in Fullerton, Ca this fall. Stadtgarten is modern yet traditionally German, with it’s select German beers and modern with it’s unique choices in meat for it’s sausages. I had the a lot of fun creating the branding and menus for this sweet place that is going to rock the downtown Fullerton scene.
Go and get some sausage today at stadtgarten!
The mission is to inspire. Nick Vijicic is a motivational speaker that was born without arms or legs, sharing his message of overcoming bullies and personal struggles.
He had the amazing quest to travel the globe and visit over 27 countries over the course of a year spreading his message of hope. I was able to develop the branding for the people that wanted to follow Nick on his journey. Making collectable country cards, maps, itineraries, web graphics, and country themed type treatments.

Freeway is a book to… well more of an experience where you don’t read it you do it. It is a very interactive and approvable way for people to over come insecurities and negative labels and bring about positive life change.
Making this book more approchable was accomplished through the very simplistic and unrefined illustrations, guiding the reader though the book without feeling threatened with polish and threatening blocks of body copy.
